Ragnar Meinander was my grandfather.

 

He was a lawyer, public servant, author and prolific 8mm film enthusiast.

 

From my perspective Ragnar knew everything and everyone. One of the books he wrote is called “The society we live in” - which pretty much included everything you needed to know to be an informed citizen.

I spent my early childhood in the same household and I owe my hunger for knowledge and eagerness to understand society and culture to him.

 

The name Ragnar was carried on to me and I’ve carried it on to my son and both companies I’ve founded.
